We are a small farm located near Mason City in north-central Iowa that has had miniature cattle since 1993. Our goal has always been the same, to have healthy and colorful miniature cattle under 36 inches. We are breeding what we like to call Western Heritage Miniature Cattle. They have the conformation and color variety of longhorn type cattle. Something like you may have seen in the old west. Small and colorful.
2017 calves starting in April
We really, really like our bulls. We use bulls that are 36 inches or less and 500lbs or less. We want to have layer upon layer of small genes in our herd.
Jim Dandy, a super nice bull calf. Bred, born and raised here.
We love having calves every year. Couldn't do it without some great cows. We like lots of color, personality and mothering ability. Our cows are as small as 32 inches.
Ruby is 32 inches, pictured wirth her son next to a small square bale.
Millie, she is 35 inches tall. Awesome cow.
2 and 3 yr old cows at the feed bunk.
Put it all together and we get some pretty nice calves. We average 20lbs and 20 inches tall.
Hard to find them much smaller than this. 3 weeks old.
Throw in some nice color.
And some more color. And you get some real cuties .
If you like what you see and want to add some colorful miniature cattle to your front pasture, give us a call.
